The Open Episcopal Church at Pride

Updated: Aug 31, 2022

Our "Little Church with the Huge Heart" joined fellow people of faith from all over,

in support of our LGBTQIA+ members, to walk in solidarity with the Foyle Pride Parade

on Saturday 27th August.

Although Fr. Seamus had the great joy to participate in the amazing Belfast Pride Parade, at the end of July, with Christians at Pride, this was the first opportunity for members of The Open Episcopal Church in Ireland to demonstrate our deep commitment to complete inclusiveness of ALL people irregardless of Race, Creed or Sexuality.

WE EXCLUDE NO-ONE

FROM THE TABLE OF THE LORD!!!!

Why celebrate Pride?

The opposite of pride is Shame.

The churches have forced people to live

in shame for long enough!!

Now we stand proud

with our Rainbow Community

Even Kaye's dog, Juno, joined in with us.
